ESG evaluations—Environmental, Social, Governance—allow for a comprehensive view of companies' ability to generate new value and their exposure to risks. Commitment to social responsibility and local issues is an integral part of the principles and behaviors adopted by the company, aimed at technological excellence, maintaining high levels of safety, environmental protection, and energy efficiency, as well as training, raising awareness, and engaging personnel on social responsibility topics.
Historically, the company has planned its environmental investment activities with a focus on eco-efficiency, through a series of outsourcing initiatives and investments aimed at improving energy consumption.
In particular, the initiatives pursued aim to optimize the use of energy sources and natural resources while minimizing negative environmental impacts and promoting a culture of proper engagement with environmental issues.
Recently, procedures have been implemented and adjusted to comply with new regulations, achieving additional certifications regarding:
- Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) - ISO 26000:2020 Certification;
- gender equality and inclusion in the workplace - UNI PdR 125:2022 Certification;
- requirements for social management systems and for reporting social performance - PAS 24000:2022 Certification.
